Pastor Levin came to serve as pastor of Abbott Baptist Church on May 7 2023. He has been a resident of Hill County all his life. He is married to Kimberly Ainsworth and together they have five boys, one granddaughter and they are expecting their first grandson in August.
Pastor Levin has a passion for preaching and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, but most importantly it is his heart's desire to see people transformed and changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
As we grow together, loving Jesus, loving people and our community may Christ be exalted!
Hi, My name is Ruth Slovak. I am 46 years old and have grown up in church my entire life. As a child I was raised old school Pentecostal with my mother. My Father was killed in a tragic accident when I was 11 months old so Mom was the sole person in my life besides my sister and few cousins. I learned to Love the Lord. I had my Teenage years and struggles thru life like everyone. I have had my "WHY LORD" moments and gotten through them because God gives us trials.
I have Worked for YMCA, WEST ISD, and 25 years as a Home Health Aide (with years as a CNA and CMA). I feel God has Molded me into what he wants me to to do for him which is work with youth kids at Abbott Baptist Church. I am very passionate about the kids and learning about how Jesus can save them and help them throughout their lives. I'm all about having fun while learning. And the more we do together the more we grow together as a family.
